Former Pupils Excel
Alex Jackson has had an amazing year, he has performed in front of thousands
of people at various concerts including such stars as Lady Gaga and Rihanna.
He has also made many television appearances and has numerous
modeling and promotional contracts. He has just been offered his first West End
role in the musical " The Bodyguard"
Kate Jordan has been awarded scholarship places to five top musical theatre
schools. Kate has decided to attend Bird College situated in London
commencing in 2013.
Jenny Ellis has been awarded a place at the Performance Preparation Academy
on a three year Musical Theatre Course.
Molly Birnie has been offered a place at "The Space" College to further her
performing arts studies.
Congratulations to 9 year old Paris Grassi and 16 year old Eronwy Selwyn who
have both been offered fully funded scholarships for the forthcoming year to
The Somerset School of Performing Arts as a result of winning the schools
annual Search for a Star competition.

Ben Watkins has been a
pupil at The Somerset School of Arts from the age of 6. Ben has performed at
numerous venues in a variety of roles all over the country. His latest
performance, a play which he wrote with two of his friends,
"Dial H for Hitchcock" was a sell out success at the Edinburgh Fringe
Festival 2011

Jackson and Caroline Rees had the amazing experience of performing at The
Olympic opening and closing ceremonies in London in July. Both are
now professional dancers and both spent many years of their early training
at The Somerset School of Performing Arts
